A weekend of Hoedown @ Standon Calling and Wilderness Festivals

Just back from a lovely weekend of hoedowns every night...this summer is a whistle stop tour of all the shires, this weekend oxfordshire and hertfordshire.....

Big Up to Standon Calling, a most scrumptious garden party on steroids of a festival - we had a ball barn dancing on the lawn. Wait, was that really John Cooper Clarke dancing in the audience?

Also, many congratulations to Ros and John our dear friends and avid barn dancers, who got married on the lawn at Standon. What a lovely day.
 

And a huge thank you to the inaugural Wilderness Festival set in a HUGE ancient woodland in Oxfordshire, and the London Folk Guild for booking Cut A Shine and Kidnap Alice for a rip roaring Sunday Night hoedown to close the stage. Lovely and messy and raucous.
